The Marriage Bargain  (Marriage to a Billionaire #1)

(Adult Romance)

by
A marriage in name only...

To save her family home, impulsive bookstore owner, Alexa Maria McKenzie, casts a love spell. But she never planned on conjuring up her best friend's older brother—the powerful man who once shattered her heart.

Billionaire Nicholas Ryan doesn’t believe in marriage, but in order to inherit his father’s corporation, he needs a wife and needs one fast. When he discovers his sister’s childhood friend is in dire financial straits, he’s offers Alexa a bold proposition.

A marriage in name only with certain rules: Avoid entanglement. Keep things all business. Do not fall in love. The arrangement is only for a year so the rules shouldn’t be that hard to follow, right?

Except fate has a way of upsetting the best-laid plans…

My Review...

So, I thought this was going be the typical everyday girl marries billionaire and lives happily ever after. I was pleasantly surprised with this story and loved all the characters from Alexa, her best friend, her family and especially Nick.

As you know I have a thing for the broken man who becomes whole and Yep this is another one of those stories where Nick is broken from his dysfunctional family and does not want to open up his heart. Of course he ends up needing Alexa as much as she needs him for "business marriage" and finds out that not only does he need this marriage to work he finds that Alexa's pure heart helps to crack open his heart and helps him see what he is missing and of course makes him whole. *sigh* my favorite part.

I thought this book was a great read and would say it is worth a read.

I don't know what The Marriage Trap (Marriage to a Billionaire #2) is going to be like but I can not wait to continue reading this series.

I give it 4 thumbs up for sure! thumbs upthumbs upthumbs upthumbs up
