Stealing Parker (Catching Jordan #2)

Stealing Parker (Catching Jordan #2)

by
Red-hot author Miranda Kenneally hits one out of the park in this return to Catching Jordan's Hundred Oaks High.

After her family's scandal rocks their conservative small town, 17-year-old Parker Shelton goes overboard trying to prove that she won't turn out like her mother: a lesbian. The all-star third-baseman quits the softball team, drops 20 pounds and starts making out with guys--a lot. But hitting on the hot new assistant baseball coach might be taking it a step too far...especially when he starts flirting back.

My Review...

I love YA books with strong female leads and Miranda Kenneally did not let us down with this book. Parker is a young girl super conflicted with other people's choices that effect her life.

She is a loyal friend and so badly wants to be loved. She wants it so bad she does not see what is right in front of her and instead falls for the wrong guy. And Brian was sooo wrong..... It is just a shame with this choice it almost ruined everything. However sometimes good things come out of bad and with this incident it did bring her broken family back together.

Now lets talk about Will. I loved him from the beginning with his Lawn Mower riding ways and not caring what anyone else thought about him.  Sometimes throughout the book I wanted to throttle Parker for not seeing Will and letting her issues getting in the way.  But in the end when she finally finds herself she starts to see clearly and ends up with everything that she wants.

Good Solid Read 4 Thumbs up! thumbs upthumbs upthumbs upthumbs up
