Danielle and Wes have been best friends since college, so when Wes needs a date for his sister’s wedding and Dani needs a partner for her company’s retreat, they devise the perfect plan: a fake engagement to get through both events unscathed. Adrenaline-junkie Wes can prove to both his ex and his family that he’s well and truly moved on, and serious-minded Dani can prove to her boss that she’s worthy of the promotion he seems to only want to give to a family-oriented employee.

But amid the fake swoons, fake kisses, and forced proximity, neither expects the very real feelings that develop. There’s nothing more dangerous than falling for your best friend…but what if the landing is worth the fall?

My Review...

I was looking for a nice light read and this book sure it the spot for me. It was a super sweet story about friends to lovers which is one of my favorite themes.  I thought it was well written and kept you on edge enough without over doing it.

The angst between friends to lovers was captured well especially with everyone else seeing it before they could get their heads wrapped around it.  At times I got frustrated with Dani or Wes not being able to see what is right in front of them but that is the beauty of these types of books so it was a good frustration.

Dani and Wes make such a good couple balancing each other out.  Fate and timing is a very powerful things. It was fate to bring them together but it was the timing that was key. Early on they weren't ready for one another. They needed to experience life and hardships before they could truly appreciate what they had in each other.

Great Read! 4.5 Adorable Thumbs Up!
