Chasing Mrs. Right (Come Undone #2) - Review

Chasing Mrs. Right (Come Undone #2)

by
It was only supposed to last one night…

Roxanne Stokes doesn’t believe in love. She does, however, believe in the sexy-as-sin stranger who literally knocks her off her feet in front of a nightclub. The chemistry sparking between them takes her breath away, and she’ll do anything to ease the pain in his eyes…until she realizes the handsome stranger is her best friend’s older brother who’s just come home from war.

Ian Walser had no idea the gorgeous woman he slept with the night of his homecoming party was his little sister’s best friend—or that she’d be gone before morning. Roxanne’s touch soothes him in a way nothing else can, and he’s not ready to walk away from that yet. Not when spending time with her gave Ian a glimpse of everything he’s ever wanted.

When his sister unwittingly pushes them together, he sees his chance. But convincing a woman who doesn’t believe in love that she’s his Mrs. Right might be harder than any mission Ian’s undertaken. Good thing this soldier likes a challenge…

My Review...

A little story about finding something right in a shit storm of reality.

For Roxanne who we meet in Wrong Bed, Right Guy who happens to be the supportive best friend with a shit load of emotional baggage.

Happens to literally run into Ian who is trying to deal with his own demons by running away. (Who also happens to be her BFF"s brother. Oops!)

Together they become each others healing vices.  In some circumstances this could be a good things but for Roxanne her issues throws a huge wrench into the plan causing Ian to doubt that this relationship is worth the risk.

"Life is complicated. There isn't going to come a time when everything magically falls into place between two perfect people. You have to take your happiness where you can get it, and it sounded like she made you happy."

Once I stopped wanting to punch Roxanne in the face and for her to stop self sabotaging her relationship I started to like Ian and Roxanne.

It was a cute story with angst, self-doubt, family drama (Yowza both mom's are quite the bitches), and of course love.

I can NOT wait for Nathan's story.  You know he has his secrets and finally we will be able to learn about them in Two Wrongs, One Right August 12/2013 from Entangled Brazen

3 Ian loving Thumbs Up!
