Jack & Cassie's story continues in the follow up to the Best Selling book, The Perfect Game.

Thrust into the spotlight, Cassie must learn how to navigate the waters of this sometimes unforgiving and cruel world. It's a lifestyle that makes you question your happiness and sanity as the past is never truly far behind.

My Review..

This one was a tough one for me because I thought The Perfect Game was tied off really nicely and I was not sure how this one was going to pan out.  There were parts that I enjoyed (AKA more JACK as well as Dean and Melissa and the epilogue) but there were other parts that I felt were irrelevant and tiresome as well.  People don't hate me I am entitled to an opinion.

The first half the book is basically a re-enactment last six months of what happened before Jack showed up on her door step.  Parts of this were informative but it felt a bit tedious with a whole bunch of sex thrown in. However we get to see more into Jack,  my sweet Jack.  We get to see into what makes him tick and we get to forgive him even more.

The second half of the book is the continuation of Jack and Cassie.  It starts out all rainbows and unicorns. Then reality sets in. The fact that Jack is famous and the media rarely tells the truth causes Cassie's world to shift and than she decides to be a martyr and not let Jack know what is going on.

Thank goodness for Dean and Melissa and Gran and Gramps who finally get Cassie to get past her own issues and see what is really there and for her to realize that Jack may have mad a HUGE mistake but there is no doubting his love for her.

I LOVED LOVED that Jack got to throw Cassie's prove it back in her face.

Unfortunately with the last half of the book I lost my love for Cassie.  She was so strong yet with her own issues in The Perfect Game but in this one she morphed into something weaker.

I still did like the book but I have mixed emotions about the whole thing.
