AUTHOR BIO
J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).

She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. She used to have a job driving around Colorado doing pretty much nothing but shooting the breeze with farmers, but now she just writes, runs the New Adult Addiction and Clean Teen Reads Book Blogs, and runs an online science classroom for homeschoolers.

My Review...

So the anticipated finale to Rook and Ronin. With this book we get to see the evolution of Rook and get to finally see into her past to see why she's so damaged.

With Rook throughout this series she has ups and downs for me but in this book I was so pro Rook and loved seeing her build a backbone and get the strength she needs to move forward with her life.

There were ups and downs and twists and turns with this novel. At times I was like this is going to be so predictable but then nope all of a sudden I was like didn't see that coming.

I loved the evolution of Rook and Ronin and to see how they complete each other no matter what. Especially with so many outside forces trying to push them apart: their pasts, their lies, Clare, self doubt, insecurities, Ford and so many other factors but their love is strong enough to survive.

We also get to see more into Spencer and Ford and I can't wait for their stories to come.

4 Rook and Ronin Loving Thumbs Up!
