My Review...
So it was super cute. I loved the fact that the author was writing fiction about the stresses of being an author with all the nuances that go with that.
Candice (Candy) is complex and has her issues but wanting something or wanting the idea of something are two totally different things.
You think that there may be a bit of a love triangle thing going to happen then that notions vanishes with her boss being a douchebag and she is left with sweet James.
James has his own issues but with Candice he knows what he wants.
It's one of those books that didn't wow me but I still found it super sweet. I like Lisa Burstein's writings. This is the first foray of hers into an older genre and I thought it was done well and I loved the concept and idea of the book.
