Tagline: He’s the last thing she wants…but the only thing she needs.
Blurb:  Willa Peet isn’t interested in love. She’s been there, done that, and has the shattered heart to prove it. Ready to shake the breakup, she heads to Dublin, Ireland. But there’s a problem. A dark-haired, blue-eyed problem with a bad attitude that rivals her own. And he’s not doling out friendly Irish welcomes.
Shane Claymore just wants to race. The death of his father forced him off the Formula One circuit, but he’s only staying in Dublin long enough to sell the Claymore Inn and get things in order for his mother and younger sister. He never expected the sarcastic American girl staying at the inn to make him question everything.
But even as Willa and Shane’s fiery natures draw them together, their pasts threaten to rip them apart. Can Shane give up racing to be with the woman he loves, or will Willa’s quest to resurrect the tough-talking, no-shit-taking girl she used to be destroy any hope of a future together?

My Review...

Let's start with the plain and simple fact that Tessa Bailey is brilliant.  I have read her Line of Duty series and LOVED them. Then I found out that this book is a jump into NA foray and I was a bit skeptical but it had elements I like: it was written by Tessa Bailey (so really what could go wrong?), it is Ginger's little sister from Protecting what's his Line of Duty #1 and 3 its based in Ireland.  After realizing these elements which sound like a potential key to success, I jumped into this endeavor and I'm so HAPPY I did because I LOVED IT!!!!!!!

Willa is the hard nosed little sister to Ginger Peet and with her past she is wary and guarded.  Due to this others make her fill unfixable especially if she can't get her shit together for the ever sweet Evan.  Needing to get her head back on straight she jumps at the opportunity to go to Ireland only to butt heads with Shane Claymore who happens to be just as bitter, jaded, broken and guarded.

It looks like it is going to be disaster but this potential storm fades into just a light Irish drizzle instead.  The volatility of these two creates so much heat that they can do nothing but succumb to it instead of fight it.

With each other they quickly realize that maybe they aren't broken or unfixable but just right.  Again Tessa Bailey knows how to write passion, lust and chemistry,  It oozes out of the pages with these two.

With the wise guidance of her sister Ginger she learns to let love in and finally be truly happy with herself.

Everything about this book was fantastic.  All the characters are great (especially Faith and Kitty well besides Willa and Shane).  The banter and humor in this book is fantastic with everyone.

Shane is an absolute sweetheart even though he came across as the biggest ass to start with and it's not just because he is super sexy and has an accent. Nope! There is so much more to him.

I would have to say that Tessa Bailey has done a fantastic jump in the NA pool but let's be honest I don't think she could really have failed in the long run.  This book has by far put her up as one of my favorite authors.  I know I feel like I'm gushing but I can't help it. ;)

Even if you are not a fan of NA I think this book is worth a jump into the NA pool.

5 Irish Loving Thumbs up!
