My The Billionaire Takes a Bride Review . . .

There's just something about this series and the billionaire's boys club that I adore.  This series is a spin off from the billionaire's boy club, which includes Gretchen and Hunter.  Which means we still get tons of sexy billionaire's but this time around we get it combined with reality tv and roller derby.  It's like the movie Whip it meets the Kardashians.

Chelsea Hall, has a great exterior, which enjoys life.  But her interior is damaged and scared, and for good reason.

Sebastian Cabral loves his family but he's doesn't want to be in the spotlight of their reality tv show anymore.

As both of them are part of Gretchen and Hunter's wedding party, they meet.  And after this meeting they realize that there's something safe between them.  For Chelsea, she's not scared of Sebastian and feels comfortable with him.  For Sebastian, not only is Chelsea sexy as hell but she's doesn't want anything to do with the show.  After quickly meeting they realize that they can help each other out through this wedding process and be each other safety dates.

For Sebastian, his family is proving to be more tiresome when they bring back his ex into the series.  With this new turn, he needs an out.  What better way of an out then to marry his safety date.  For most that would seem absurd, but for Chelsea, she jumps on the idea because she hates being alone.  For her it's a win win.

For a couple who are newly married, they're quickly finding out that they don't know a lot about each other.  The more time goes on the more they learn and the more they learn they more they like about each other.  For Chelsea, it's a perfect scenario as she gets all the elements of a great boyfriend without the sexual pressures, but for Sebastian he's regretting his choice with his constant case of blue balls, when he's around Chelsea.

Since Sebastian is safe, Chelsea slowly warms up to the idea of more with him, but at the same time her insecurities come to the forefront as well as the giggling.  Which for some reason is a HUGE pet peeve with me within contemporary romance.  I don't know why but every time I read the word 'giggle' I cringe with dislike.

After I got over the giggling and Chelsea starts to open up.  Sebastian comes up with an idea to help Chelsea with some of her hang ups.  And this solution is golden for them causing sparks to fly between these two.

I loved Sebastian, and how he instantly took care of Chelsea and did everything for her.  I liked her two sides, the roller derby girl and the broken girl.  That might seem disjointed but once they met in the middle, its what made Chelsea so loveable.  Their chemistry was great.  Their story was cute.  Sebastian's mom is a nightmare. And the elements of the reality show were humorous even with the part where Chelsea never signed anything so she wouldn't have been filmed if that were the case.  However, it's fiction so I have to let that detail go.  Now let's be honest once you put sexy bad ass roller derby into a book, how can you not love it.

"I'll tell them to hold a ticket for you at the front.  Tell them you're Chesty LaRude's piece of ass."
"I shall wear the name with pride,"
