Rick and Angelo are sick and tired of trying to get a wedding organized. If it was up to them, they’d be married already, but Angelo's mother has plans and they keep getting bigger. Angelo can see problems on the horizon: big, traditional Italian wedding and gay do not go well together. Something’s got to give.

Colin receives an unexpected call from an ex, with bad news. He feels compelled to help, regardless of the consequences. Ed loves Colin’s big heart and supports him in his efforts, but when the truth comes out, he finds it difficult to keep a lid on his emotions.
As the coming months unfold, the friends are going to need each other more than ever.

“Personal Challenges is a full-length contemporary romance novel, a wonderful read that I couldn't put down and I give 5 Stars. Thank you KC Wells!” - KD Amazon Reviewer
“The series is worth revisiting…” - Light Amazon Reviewer
“I love the way KC writes! This was a great ending to this wonderful series!” - gruvermom Amazon Reviewer

K.C. Wells started writing in 2012, although the idea of writing a novel had been in her head since she was a child. But after reading that first gay romance in 2009, she was hooked.
She now writes full time, and the line of men in her head, clamouring to tell their story, is getting longer and longer. If the frequent visits by plot bunnies are anything to go by, that’s not about to change anytime soon.

My Personal Challenges Plus the Personal Series Boxset Review.

Personal Challenges.

Personal Challenges is basically a compilation or a catch of all the characters from the Personal Series.  Therefore, it definitely needs to be read as a series not a standalone.

It was so great to catch up with everyone and see how they make out and how all their friendships work together.  Plus this time around we get to see how they rally together with their trials and tribulations of life.

I loved all the characters but throughout the whole series Ed and Colin are nearest and dearest to my heart.  How can they not when Ed who is such a gruff east ender but has the heart of gold and when he fell he fell the furthest of everyone.

"Love you too.  I was only thinkin' this morning that I don't tell you often enough 'ow I feel about ya.  Maybe those need to be the first words out of my mouth every morning when I wake up with you beside me, because Gawd knows, I'm grateful for every fuckin' day that I 'ave you in me life."

"I've worked too long an' 'ard on me rep as a curmudgeon to 'ave you ruin it for me."
This was such a sweet story and was so lucky to have had the opportunity to review it.  I can't wait for more form this author and maybe one day we will see more from these characters or maybe Franco & Anthony?????

Personal Secrets Boxset

Making it Personal is the first book of the set and it focuses on Will & Blake.  This was a very sweet story about love and guts.   Blake was a successful business men but a closet gay where his new assistant was openly gay and also his sexual fantasy come to real life.

These two had some trials and tribulations but they were so sweet and the evolution of Blake was a bit rocky for him but ended up being everything he needed.

Personal Challenges is the second book and it focuses on Rick & Angelo.  Rick happens to work for Blake and also is a good friend of Will's.

Rick has bad luck when it comes to men but then an Italian stallion comes to the rescue and his luck finally turns around.   Angelo is comfortable in his own skin but is not fully out with his very catholic Italian family.  So when the truth comes out all hell breaks loose.  Causing quite the bump in the road for these two.   But thankfully love prevails and we get to see the blossoming of Angelo and his family and the love between Rick and Angelo while at the same time get more of Will and Blake.

More than Personal is #2.5 in the series and is a little novella focusing more on Will and Blake six years later.

Personal Secrets is the third book in this series and it focuses on Ed & Colin.  Ed is Blake's right hand man and also Blake's good friend.  And Colin is one of Ed's rugby buddies.  Colin has always had a crush on Ed but thinks it useless since Ed is straight.

What the fuck is goin' on 'ere?  One blow-job from this guy an' suddenly me inner Gay is released?
For Ed he may not be as straight as everyone thinks.  Now with one drunken night with Colin everything is being questioned.  Ed's journey of finding his true self was quite the beautiful journey and great to watch.  I absolutely loved Ed & Colin together.

"God, I want to kiss you so badly right now."  Ed groaned.  "Oh for God's sake, Col, don't tell me that, just fuckin' kiss me."
Strictly Personal is #3.5 of the series and another novella but this time around it focuses more on Ed & Colin and a bit more of Blake and Will.

I absolutely adore this series and all these characters.

I couldn't put the books down and now my fingers are crossed that we hopefully will get a story with Franco & Anthony.

4 Loved this series thumbs up!
