He's a game she never intended to play.
And she's the game changer he never knew he needed.

The Perfect Game tells the story of college juniors, Cassie Andrews & Jack Carter. When Cassie meets rising baseball hopeful Jack, she is determined to steer clear of him and his typical cocky attitude. But Jack has other things on his mind... like getting Cassie to give him the time of day.

They're both damaged, filled with mistrust and guarded before they find one another (and themselves) in this emotional journey about love and forgiveness. Strap yourselves for a ride that will not only break your heart, but put it back together.

Sometimes life gets ugly before it gets beautiful...

RF's Review....

****Spoiler Alert**** (Close your eyes if you have not read it yet :). Go read it then come back. If you have read it than enjoy!)

This was a book that I wanted to stop reading because you saw the bad things coming but you couldn't stop!  Cassie and Jack are so wrong and so right for each other at the same time. I love that the popular jock falls for the regular girl.  But some things are too good to be true.  It was like a waiting game, waiting for Jack to screw up and hurt Cassie and when he did I was upset!  At times I felt proud of Cassie for how she moved on and at other times I just wanted her to give Jack another change before it was to late.

I hated Jack when he wants to marry Crystal because she SAYS she is pregnant with his child.  I know he is trying to do the "right" thing but can't he see she is just using him for his money? Just use your head Jack! Good thing Crystal lets the secret slip! It still takes a few months for Jack and Cassie to see the light but I think it helped them become more sure of themselves and what they want.  I like the build up of the months that Jack and Cassie were apart, I kept waiting for them to get back together but also wondering if Cassie would find someone new that she thought was better for her.  When she ended up at Jack's game I thought for sure they would get back together but I was kept waiting!

I would definitely recommend this book!  A good love story that shows that even when mistakes happen you can still get a happy ending. 4 out of 5 stars!
