Unbreakable - #Review

Unbreakable

by

Jessica Harper is the epitome of perfection. She’s a good daughter, makes excellent grades, and always strays on the safe side of life. The last thing she thought would ever happen was falling in love with her best friend’s brother. But sometimes fate just has a way of bringing two people together.

Wide receiver for the University of Arizona, Gabe Garcia, seems to have it all. When his feelings for Jessica come to surface, Gabe will give up everything to be with her.

But what happens when a tragedy abruptly changes the course of your life? For Jessica and Gabe, everything they thought they knew about each other will be questioned. Sometimes, there are scars in life that are cut too deep to completely heal.

Will their love prove to be unbreakable, or will it shatter and prove fate is just another lie?

My Review...
"Live so that you may live."

Soul mates aren't just about 'the one' but sometimes soul mates are about finding people that you need at different times in your life.

For Jess she has two soul mates.

Gabe the ever present and ever loving soul mate that will be for eternity.

"I will love you every day for the rest of my life, never forget that."

"It's just a promise ring. There will be a better ring someday. But for today, I promise you that I love you with everything that I am, and I want you to know that it is only you, it has only ever been you that I love."

But for Jess when something tragic happens to her, life spits her out and leaves her ungrounded that all she knows how to do is run and push everyone away who loves her.

"We will get through this, together. You and I. Nothing will break us, ever. Not this. Do you hear me, Jess? Nothing. We're unbreakable."

No matter where the roads in our lives lead us, you will always be the love of my life, the one person who touched my soul, and the one person I will never forget. I will never get over you Jessica Louise Harper. Always know that there is one person in this world that loves you forever.

 Until...

She meets Landon. At first I was angry because I didn't want that connection because I am team Gabe all the way but Landon is who she needed to get that a piece of her back.  He kicked in her in the ass and intervened when she needed it the most.  He was the healing piece of the puzzle that helped her back to Gabe.

"Never be afraid to feel. It's the only way to really live. If you don't feel, there is no way you can love, heal, or forgive. You'll never move forward or get past this. You have to forgive, Jess."

"You'll never be fucking ready if you keep waiting."

Thanks to Landon Jess is able to start to move on and see what Gabe had for her, unconditional love.

"I will wait for you. When you are ready to come home, I'll be there. I will always wait for you."

This was a heartfelt and beautiful story about love being enough and finding happiness out of misery. At times the love parts were a bit to gooey for my but hey Jess is 19 years old so it makes sense.

My heart broke Landon but his story is coming and then hopefully he finds the one who loves him with all her being which he deserves.

"I will never be that guy for you. I want someone who needs me to breathe, to survive, and to love. For you, that's Gabe,"

4 heartfelt thumbs up
